Started DJ-ing waaaay back in 1990 after visiting a house-party and being totally captivated by the weird but ultimately danceable sounds of this new and strange kind of music. Went on to play in a club "Gimmix" in Sittard but was thrown out after playing 'too much of that weird music' :-).

After that he went on to DJ on several parties in the south as well as in Belgium and after a performance in the Funki Bizniz in Eindhoven in 1994 decided that he should finish his studies first (well that, and the money had run out as well, DJ-ing is a very expensive hobby).

From 1995 until 1999 he finished his studies and got a job, but continued to play with his two turntables in his spare time, which resulted in him being asked to perform at several private parties, such as birthdays or friends' parties just organised for fun. At his job he terrorized his co-workers with home-made mp3-mixes. In the early summer of 2000 he decided to give DJ-ing another try and was allowed to play at La Cantina in Eindhoven.

After numerous performances in the small but very lively Cantina, he got his first break by being asked for the 'Sirema' parties in Utrecht, which opened up clubs like "De Vloer" and "Tivoli". And because of mixes downloaded by a Belgian party-organiser, he got his first big appearance at 'PHONIC step one' for over 800 enthousiastic party-people.

Shortly thereafter, he got asked to play at the notorious underground parties in the 'Villa' in Eindhoven, which opened up his way into the Eindhoven underground scene. In the summer of 2002 this lead to performances in 'Tivoli' and of course on TechNoNonsense in the 'Effenaar'. In September of that year the first techno-party 'TRONIC' organised by El Greco sold out with over 300 party-people enjoying themselves to the sounds of local DJ's and live-acts.

In 2003, El Greco founded the 'Minimal Eindhoven' organisation together with Minidell. Within two years this organisation grew to hold national fame because of its succesful (outdoor & illegal) parties and now its members are being booked at major events.

In 2005 however, he left Minimal Eindhoven to join up with 'Dommelvallei' and his DJ-ing sets are moving back to their Detroit-Techno roots. Having set-up 2 major events called "PACT" on Queensday 2003 & 2004, followed by two packed evenings at the old Effenaar, Dommelvallei has expanded to cover more of the musical spectrum and has some serious and ambitious plans for the future...

In 2007, he joined hands with friend and fellow 'veteran DJ' Robob to form '4Manos'. A DJ-ing duo whose mission it is to get people on the dancefloor again and have FUN dancing...
